Things We Saw Today: Disney Tried to Make “Healthy Gumbo” and the Internet Reacted Accordingly

It may have been missing one key ingredient.

When it comes to movies and theme parks, Disney reigns supreme. In the case of food, however, that might be a different story.

We Are Excited: Vin Diesel Teases the Possibility of an Iron Giant Sequel

Don't speak 2 fast, or 2 furious, Vin.

Unlike his animated counterpart in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vin Diesel is known for being rather outspoken, especially on social media. This week, he's speaking up about something that is real close to our heart. And that thing is The Iron Giant.

Things We Saw Today: A Woman Plays Every Part (Even Raptors) in Hilarious Fan-Made Jurassic World Trailer

Man creates dinosaur. Dinosaur eats man. Woman dramatically reenacts it.

I used to be tired of movie trailers. Now I just want all of them pre-reenacted by Hozzah2, and I'm back on-board, Hollywood. Make it happen. Seriously, her raptor shriek imitations are everything.

Mondo Is Doing Toys Now, and Holy Christ, Look at This Iron Giant Figure

Suuupeerrrrmaaaaan. *ugly sobbing*

Gorgeous Illustrated Posters of The Iron Giant, The Wizard of Oz, Classic Horror Films, and More

It Belongs in a Museum!

I may or may not have squealed when I saw illustrator Laurent Durieux's The Iron Giant poster. And then I got a little emotional. Because that's what I do when I'm confronted with anything The Iron Giant-related, OK? But once I got myself under control I was able to look at and fully appreciate some of Durieux's other posters, and let me tell you—they are amazing. I'm not as well-versed in classic horror movies as I would like to be, but this art made me want to go and watch everything. (And rewatch The Bride of Frankenstein, because it's excellent and deserves it.)

Here, Have Some Feels: The 100 Most Depressing Movie Death Scenes [VIDEO]

I'm In A Glass Case of Emotion

I made myself sit through this five minutes and seven seconds of pure emotional turmoil, and now I'm passing it on to you. Via the miserable sadists at Movie Miscellany, here's a montage of the 100 Most Depressing Movie Death Scenes. Some of them are legitimately heartbreaking (ARRRTAAAAAX!). For others, your narm mileage may vary. Some of the deaths aren't really geared toward being depressing at all, like that of Marion Crane in Psycho, which is more of the bone-chilling variety. And there are a few particularly tragic examples missing (Littlefoot's mother from The Land Before Time, for example. And any of Sean Bean's many, many deaths, which the video description acknowledges). Still. Something tells me that you'll need to see something chipper and uplifting after watching this. Here, have a baby kangaroo. Now excuse me while I try and stave off The Iron Giant feels. (via: Pajiba)
