Okay, I promise the rest of this post is better than that joke.

We love a good geeky wedding at The Mary Sue, and Jessica and Jonathan Carroll had no exception with their own, jointly inspired by Superman and Harley Quinn. Jonathan’s half of the bridal party wore leotards and draped themselves with robes that he put together himself.

Jessica decided to go a slightly more subtle route, choosing more traditional wedding atire that nonetheless reminded her of Neo Queen Serenity from Sailor Moon. But next to all that white she made sure to add Harley’s red and black, in the decor, the cake, her bouquet, and even her engagement ring:
