Drunk Virgin Airlines passenger asked to keep quiet for sleeping baby, she responds by bragging about her salary: ‘I’m an architect!’
She can add being on the no-fly list to her list of accomplishments

A Virgin Airlines passenger who was accused of disruptive and loud behavior on a flight reacted by flexing her finances and achievements as an architect after she was asked to be quiet and not wake a sleeping baby on board the plane. The former “architect of the year” winner also got physically aggressive with one flight attendant, according to police.
The incident occurred on a Virgin Airlines flight from Dubai to London back in February. According to The Sun, Simone de Gale, 44, had a mid-flight meltdown after she was politely asked by flight staffer Sarah Jane Buckland not to walk through an aisle where a nine-month-old baby was sleeping.
The request allegedly annoyed De Gale enough to begin physically assaulting Buckland, jabbing her near the collarbone and grabbing her clothes. De Gale also accused the cabin crew of being racist and told one flight attendant, “I’m an architect.” She also further insulted the crew member, telling them, “You’re a f***ing dumb air hostess. You need to learn your place.”
Simone de Gale was apprehended upon landing
Officers at Heathrow airport arrested De Gale after the plane landed and reportedly noticed her slurred speech and alcohol breath. She also apparently stumbled when leaving the aircraft.
De Gale, who had previously earned the prestigious award of female “architect of the year,” was convicted on Thursday aftre she failed to show up in court. She was found guilty of all four charges brought against her included behaving in a threatening, abusive, insulting or disorderly manner towards the flight attendant, and being drunk in an aircraft and assault. A warrant was put out for her arrest.
Speaking about the incident, Sarah Jane Buckland claimed “We were all trying to defuse this lady.” While she wasn’t physically injured, the flight staffer was allegedly shaken up by the assault. A passenger by the name of Graham Cox told the court that De Gale had also bragged about her earnings: “She said she earns significantly more money than they did.”
De Gale had allegedly boasted about being an architect and owning her own business, telling the cabin crew that they were “only there to serve drinks and food.” Cox described her as “very loud, boisterous, aggressive.”
Footage showed the moment De Gale was arrested upon landing. She was heard protesting, and telling officers, “I don’t think that’s possible.” She was told that she was being arrested for being intoxicated on board the plane but she argued and insisted “I didn’t touch anyone.”
