Season 2 of Series of Unfortunate Events Has More Villainous Treachery and Treacherous Villains

Recommended Videos

Are you ready for more orphan sadness and bleak coloring? Good!

The first Series of Unfortunate Events teaser for Season Two was Netflix’s way of kicking off the New Year, and in the latest trailer Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf pokes some fun at Patrick Warburton’s Lemony Snicket from Season One. They’re past that now, and things are about too get muuuuuch worse/better.

What will there be? Well, in Olaf’s words, “Violence!”, “Fire!!”, and “Despair!!!” Also, angry villagers, unwanted elective surgeries, and man-eating lions. You know, the usual stuff that happens to the Baudelaire kids.

As we learned before, the show returns March 30th with 10 new episodes adapting books five through nine of Lemony Snicket’s novels: The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, The Vile Village, The Hostile Hospital, and The Carnivorous Carnival. Actors appearing in this season include Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Sara Rue, Lucy Punch, and Roger Bart.

Are you looking forward to Season Two? I, for one, can’t wait for the angry villagers.
