‘He is deteriorating quickly’: Trump trolls Dems with AI-generated post of Biden napping as Hunter snorts lines off Oval Office desk

Donald Trump just dropped another AI-generated meme that’s equal parts bizarre and predictable, this time depicting Joe Biden napping in the Oval Office while Hunter snorts lines off the Resolute Desk. The post, which went up early on May 7, 2026, is the latest in a long line of over-the-top digital provocations from the president, who seems to be leaning harder than ever into AI-generated content to troll his political opponents, raising concerns about his health.
The image itself is a surreal mess. According to Mediaite, Biden is shown in striped pajamas, fast asleep, while Barack Obama looms over his right shoulder holding a box labeled “AUTOPEN.” On the left, Hillary Clinton grins menacingly as another figure forges Biden’s signature on a document. The real kicker, though, is Hunter, depicted snorting a white powdery substance off the desk, right next to a melting pint of ice cream.
Trump captioned the whole thing with, “A highly accurate depiction of the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration. Tremendous damage done but, WE’RE BACK!!!”
Accuracy has never been the point with these kinds of posts
Trump has a habit of using AI-generated images to push narratives that range from exaggerated to outright false, and this one is no exception. According to The Daily Beast, the autopen reference, for instance, plays into a long-running conspiracy theory he’s pushed about Biden’s cognitive decline. The idea is that Biden wasn’t actually signing off on executive actions himself, his aides were doing it for him with a mechanical device.
There’s zero evidence to back this up, but that hasn’t stopped Trump from repeating it. Hunter Biden, of course, is another favorite target. The image of him snorting lines off the Oval Office desk is pure MAGA fantasy, but it’s not the first time Trump has tried to tie Hunter’s well-documented struggles with addiction to the White House.
Back in July 2023, a bag of cocaine was found in a White House vestibule. Trump immediately suggested it belonged to Hunter despite the fact that no Biden family members were even in the building that day. But the irony here is thick. Trump, who has been caught nodding off in public and even during White House events, is the last person who should be mocking anyone for dozing off in the Oval Office. Yet, here we are.
This isn’t the first time Trump has used AI to create absurd imagery
He’s previously shared AI-generated photos of himself dressed as the pope, as Jesus, and even lounging topless in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with his Cabinet. The problem is, these kinds of posts don’t just stay in the realm of internet memes. They reinforce narratives that his supporters take as gospel, no matter how far-fetched they might be.
After dropping the Biden meme, Trump shared another post, – a photo of a gold statue of himself that was recently installed at his Doral golf course in Miami. The statue, which has drawn comparisons to the kind of dictator worship you’d see in North Korea, was created by Ohio-based artist Alan Cottrill.
Cottrill said the original version was “very lifelike,” but the crypto investors bankrolling the project asked him to make some “improvements.” Specifically, they wanted him to “get rid of some of the turkey neck” and “thin him down.”
Trump captioned the statue photo with, “The Real Deal – GOLD – At Doral in Miami. Put there by great American Patriots!!!” It’s the kind of self-aggrandizing post that’s become his trademark, but it’s also a stark reminder of how much his brand of politics has blurred the line between reality and performance art.
Trump didn’t even stop there
An hour later, he posted another image, this time targeting House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. The post juxtaposed a photo of Jeffries calling for “Maximum Warfare” with an image of Cole Tomas Allen, the alleged shooter at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Trump captioned it with, “This lunatic, Hakeem ‘Low IQ’ Jeffries, should be charged with INCITING VIOLENCE! The Radical Left Democrats actually want to Destroy our Country.”
It’s a wild accusation, especially coming from someone who has repeatedly been accused of inciting violence himself. Just days earlier, Trump had praised the unity he witnessed after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, but it didn’t take long for him to pivot back to attacking Democrats for allegedly stoking political violence. The hypocrisy is almost impressive in its brazenness.
What’s clear is that Trump’s early-morning trolling sessions have become a regular part of his routine. He’s up at the crack of dawn, firing off posts that range from bizarre to outright unhinged, all while his supporters cheer him on.
The AI-generated memes, the gold statues, the baseless accusations – it’s all part of the same playbook. And while it might be easy to dismiss these posts as just another day in the life of Trump’s online persona, they have real-world consequences. They shape the narratives his base believes in, they fuel division, and they make it that much harder to have any kind of meaningful political discourse.
If there’s one thing Trump has mastered, it’s the art of the attention grab. Whether it’s a gold statue of himself or an AI-generated image of Biden napping while Hunter snorts coke, he knows exactly how to keep the spotlight on him. And in a world where outrage drives engagement, that’s all that really matters.
