Elysium, the latest sci-fi epic from District 9‘s Neill Blomkamp, is essentially all about those that have everything versus those that have nothing. There’s literally a floating paradise, but the poor are forced to live in the decrepit slums that make up the Earth. Also, it stars Matt Damon in some kind of exoskeleton, so how bad can it be? Regardless, there’s a brand new trailer out there, and it once again reinforces the idea that Blomkamp loves to make movies about desolate wastelands full of trash.
