Things We Saw Today: David Tennant Promises “It’s All Going to Be Okay”

David Tennant offered words of comfort–and a call to action, on the TV show The Last Leg. After a user tweeted asking him to “please tell us it’ll be ok,” Tennant did just that.

“It’s all going to be okay. Trust me, I’m a Doctor. But it’s up to us to make it okay. It’s time to be positively rebellious and rebelliously positive.”

He continued, “As long as we stand up for what we believe in, don’t give in to anger or violence, look out for the little guy, keep an eye on the big guys, refuse to keep our mouths shut, and just generally try not to be dicks, every little thing is gonna be alright.” I don’t know about you all, but I needed to hear that today. • After the premiere screening of Legion on Thursday, executive producer Bryan Singer and star Aubrey Plaza had some fun ways to describe the show. Singer called it “a visual feast” and “an onion — constantly being unpeeled with every scene and with every episode.” Plaza said “it’s a superhero origin story told through the lens of some cosmic psychedelic genius that is telling the story in a non-linear, magical way.” This show sounds curiouser and curiouser every day.
