A woman in Nashville is recounting how she might have scared away a man from dating her.
@zoertoast, in a video she uploaded to her TikTok, talked about a guy she was chatting with on Hinge and then decided to go out on a date with. The only catch? The date never happened. The day before it was supposed to happen, and the hours leading up to it, the man simply ghosted her. However, it seems that the most embarrassing part of the whole experience for @zoertoast was that she triple-texted the man, asking for accountability on the situation after everything that happened.

@zoertoast, in the first few seconds of her video, where she talks about the guy who ghosted her, says she started talking to him on Hinge. She also mentions that he asked her out for the upcoming Saturday, noting that he would be busy all week. Slightly deviating from the main story, @zoertoast states that she’s not a big fan of going on dates and is on dating apps because she likes attention. However, with this guy, she says she thought she could step outside her comfort zone, and so she agreed to the date.
@zoertoast says that during the week leading up to Saturday, she and the guy texted each other throughout the day, but not constantly. She then explains that on Friday, while she was in a pool enjoying a half-day, she sent him a picture of the pool, but he didn’t reply for over twelve hours. Despite not getting a response to her previous message, she allegedly sent him another text asking if he had plans for that day, but received no reply again.
While on the topic of dates, this woman nearly died during one, but her date only cared about money.
The next day, which was the day of the date, she says she didn’t receive a text from the guy all day. Then, at 11:30 pm, before the day was over, she allegedly triple-texted him. Reflecting on her moment of weakness, @zoertoast recalled her friends telling her not to do it. But she said, “I’m sorry, what do I have to f—ing lose in this situation? I’ve never met him. The date’s not happening.” She also mentioned that she asked him what time he was picking her up that night, but he didn’t respond.
