Seth Meyers Perfectly Explains Why the Choice Is so Hard in This Election

Recommended Videos

It’s almost over, everyone! There are five days left until the U.S. Presidential Election, and early voting is already happening (I voted early! You’re welcome, CA!). Soon this will all be behind us, and we’ll be able to look back on it as if it were a bad dream (unless we wake up in a bigger nightmare on November 9th). Apparently, the polls are panic-inducingly close (according to Trump’s campaign, who only recently said they were rigged but now love polls), and people are still having a hard time deciding who to vote for, because the choice is so hard, you guys. Thankfully, Seth Meyers is here to help.

On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Meyers gives a great run-down of the current status of the election in an “A Closer Look” segment. Republicans like Paul Ryan who previously withdrew support for Trump are now rushing to claim to give it … even though they can’t even say the guy’s name and are basically treating him like Voldemort.

But the real jewel of this segment is at the end, where Meyers addresses the continued indecision many voters are experiencing. Because these two candidates are clearly equals, right? I mean, right? *sigh* Actually, the real jewel of this segment is Joe Biden sliding sunglasses on during a speech LIKE A BOSS. That’s the real jewel of our entire existence, to be quite honest.

Anyway, if you’re in the U.S. and you’re not voting early, make sure you get out to the polls on Tuesday. Vote as if our lives depended on it. Because they do.
