Supergirl Stuntwoman Jessie Graff Completes Another Incredible, Historic American Ninja Warrior Run

Recommended Videos

The CW’s Supergirl stuntwoman, Jessie Graff, already made history on American Ninja Warrior by becoming the first woman to best the course’s 14.5-foot warped wall (in Wonder Woman attire, no less), but of course, Supergirl’s job is never done. She’s back at it again, in an outfit that she says is inspired by Green Lantern, with a qualifying run through the physical challenge’s national finals stage one–making her the first woman ever to to do so. Watch and be amazed.

Since “being Kryptonian” is out of the question for most of us as a means to acquiring super powers, Graff went the route of circus training, martial arts, gymnastics, and pole vaulting—to name a few of her proficiencies. She was always an incredible athlete, as told in a USA Today interview, but she found motivation in Ninja Warrior after a bad knee injury, and that driving goal has certainly allowed her to bounce back and then some.

She hopes her example will inspire other women along the way, saying, “My first year doing Ninja Warrior, I didn’t really know what it was about. After that, when so many people were like, ‘I didn’t know women could do that,’ I thought, ‘Then, we better show you.'”
