The Dark Knight Rises is coming out on DVD and Blu-ray in just over a week, and for those who can’t wait to tackle the abundance of special features, here’s a short behind-the-scenes featurette on Anne Hathaway‘s Selina Kyle—specifically the character’s fighting technique and the actress’ commitment to kicking butt as the Once and Future Catwoman.

There’s nothing on how she managed to fight (or walk, even) in those crazy heels. But I expect that’s a skill that can’t be taught.

Catwoman is apparently one of the most well written characters we’ve seen in these movies so far and she could potentially steal the show the way Heath Ledger did last time. She does some cool stuff in the movie like jumping out of windows and stealing the Batpod. — A source to Batman News, divulging a few details about Anne Hathaway‘s Catwoman/Selina Kyle in The Dark Knight Rises. Another source also says that the costume pics that were revealed on Friday were not totally complete. (As in, there will possibly be a more cat-like cowl added at some point.) Look What the Bat Dragged In: First Look at Anne Hathaway As Selina Kyle (or Catwoman)

An official image of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman has been released by Warner Bros., and here it is! But are we looking at Catwoman or Selina Kyle? One hint is the file name, which /Film pointed out was Selina Kyle. So that could mean that we’re only looking at the beginning of Hathaway’s transformation in The Dark Knight Rises. One thing is for certain, however: Anne Hathaway is fiercer than she’s ever been. We like this. Bring it on, Hathaway!
