  3. Tom Hardy Crashed A Wedding As Bane, Batmobile Wedding Photos Happened [VIDEO]

YOUR WEDDING MUST BE MORE SEVERE

Sure, I mean, your wedding had a pretty good cocktail hour but did it have Tom Hardy show up as Bane? A couple getting married in Pittsburgh back in 2011 discovered that their wedding chapel was right next to the live production set of The Dark Knight Rises. Luckily for the wedding party, the production team was so remorseful about all the explosions during the couple's special day that they gave the bride and groom a Bat-wedding to remember.

  12. No, You Were Not the Only Person Who Thought of Bane When the Lights Went Out During the Superbowl

Fact From the Vapor of Nuance

Shortly after Beyonce's rocking Halftime show/impromptu Destiny's Child reunion last night, and less than two minutes into the second half of the forty-seventh Super Bowl, half of New Orleans' Superdome went black (or at the very least, quite dark) from a power outage that lasted more than half an hour. And many a nerd across America stood up from their couches, smirked, and said "This is where Bane walks out, right?" Hey, we watch the Super Bowl too, you know. At the very least to see the movie trailers, eat food, or because we learned to love the game in marching band. So just in case you are one of those nerds and thought that you might possibly be alone in making that connection, I've gathered together some evidence to the contrary. Because maybe it wasn't Bane who shut down the Superdome. Maybe it was... Baynonce.

  14. Bane Gets Back-Breaking Poses In His Lifelike TDKR Hot Toys Figure

    Holy Rusted Metal Batman!

Besides the artist who repaints character dolls, I'd probably say Hot Toys does the best job at replicating an actor's precise looks in doll form. Their Loki, based on Tom Hiddleston's character in The Avengers, still takes the cake for me but their recently revealed Bane from The Dark Knight Rises also does a pretty great job looking like actor Tom Hardy. This is also the first Hot Toys figure I've seen with its shirt off, which is vaguely uncomfortable. You'll see why... (Hot Toys on Facebook via MTV Splash Page)

Have you been sitting on the edge of your seat ever since we posted the first installment of Batman Shampoo vs. Bane-Ana? I know I have. There were a lot of unanswered questions. Will Batman Shampoo succeed in his plan to clean the hair of everyone in Gotham? Or will Bane-Ana manage to dirty everyone up again by putting banana in their hair? Well worry not, my friends, for Batman Shampoo Returns is here. With a special guest appearance by Conditioner Gordon, no less. 16. Bane the Freestyle Rapper [VIDEO]

    SMILE DARN YA SMILE!

So maybe Bane's face being covered by a mask, coupled with his accent, meant that he was a bit hard to understand during The Dark Knight Rises. If that gives people room to dub over his scenes with freestyle rapping, I'm all for it. Whoever this guy is, his Bane voice is scarily accurate. I'm not 100% convinced it's not Tom Hardy, unable to let go of the character. If you like this, check out Auralnauts' extended edition of their "Bane outtakes," in which Bane is obsessed with strawberries. 20. Amanda Responds To Rush Limbaugh’s Dark Knight Rises Comments In That Way That Amanda Does

    i'll just leave this here

Editor's Note: Earlier this week we brought you a quote from radio host Rush Limbaugh in which he waxed not-so-poetically about Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. He discussed the notion floating around that the Chuck Dixon-created Bane from DC Comics, played by Tom Hardy in the film, is tangentially related to Mitt Romney's Bain Capital. It's not but it's certainly making for some good jokes. Here now is our lovely, crayon-doodling, reviewer Amanda LaPergola giving her take on it all.
