Uber Eats driver returns to an apartment hoping to see woman he met. Then he sees what her boyfriend is holding: ‘I am going to kill you’

The accused has over 17k followers on Instagram.

A routine food delivery shift in Miami turned into a violent ordeal one morning. A 33-year-old Florida man now faces serious legal trouble after an altercation involving an Uber Eats driver. Khuslen Saruultuya, a fitness influencer known online as Khuslen Khan, is in custody, per TMZ. He faces charges including attempted felony murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

The incident began at approximately 2:35 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026. According to Law&Crime, the driver arrived at the Pearl Dadeland Apartments to drop off an order. This complex is located in the 7400 block of North Kendall Drive. The driver met a woman outside the main lobby during this initial delivery. They engaged in a brief conversation during the handoff. The driver later informed deputies that he “took a liking to her.”

He finished his delivery and continued working throughout the area for a short time. However, he decided to return to the apartment complex at about 3.25 a.m. His stated goal was to see the woman again and “possibly obtain her phone number.” He was unable to locate her upon his return to the property.

The situation escalated rapidly as the driver walked back toward his vehicle

Saruultuya arrived at the scene in a gray Chevrolet Corvette. He exited the vehicle and confronted the driver immediately. According to the probable cause affidavit, Saruultuya “gave the victim loud verbal commands to lie on the ground while pointing at him with what the victim described as a semi-automatic handgun.” The driver complied with these demands. Saruultuya then fired a single round at the man. This bullet grazed the victim on his right buttock.

The violence did not stop there. Saruultuya allegedly struck the driver in the back of the head with the butt of the handgun. This impact caused a 2-inch open wound. The driver reported that Saruultuya then ordered him to stand back up. The assailant pointed the weapon directly at his head and stated, “I am going to kill you.” The woman involved in the initial encounter attempted to intervene. She was heard yelling, “Babe, please stop!”

Saruultuya chased the driver around the Corvette while keeping the firearm trained on him. The woman continued her efforts to restrain him during this pursuit. The driver eventually managed to flee the scene. He drove himself to South Miami Hospital to seek medical treatment for his injuries. A Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the complex at 3.34 a.m. following reports of gunfire. A witness confirmed an altercation took place involving a man with a gun.

The witness noted that the suspect fled in a two-door sports car

Authorities traced the license plate to a 2021 gray Chevrolet Corvette registered to Saruultuya. A police officer working an off-duty detail at the hospital also alerted authorities when the victim arrived. The driver later identified Saruultuya from a photo lineup. Deputies arrested the suspect at his home without further incident. He was transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Saruultuya is a fitness enthusiast who maintains a significant presence on Instagram with over 17,000 followers. His legal issues extend beyond this shooting incident.

A search of his residence revealed a large quantity of suspected narcotics. Investigators found substances believed to be cocaine, MDMA, ketamine, marijuana, and psilocybin mushrooms. They also discovered hundreds of prescription pills. Police seized over $11,000 in cash, which they suspect is linked to drug sales.

The judge read several specific charges during the court hearing. These included “Trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in ecstasy, possession with intent to sell Adderall.” Records indicate that Saruultuya faced previous drug trafficking charges in 2023.

This also isn’t Khuslen’s first time dealing with an altercation involving his girlfriend

NBC Miami states that in 2022, he was involved in a dispute at a gym in Kendall. That incident occurred after another man was seen checking out his girlfriend. The man in that situation reportedly pulled a knife on Saruultuya and faced arrest.

Saruultuya was held without bond as of Tuesday evening. He is scheduled for another court hearing to determine if he will be granted bail. The events from early Monday morning serve as a stark reminder of how quickly a simple work shift can change. The investigation into the shooting and the discovered narcotics remains active.
