Somehow Trump’s Iran Deal Just Keeps Gettng Worse

The United States’ deal with Iran keeps getting worse. President Trump seemingly signed off on a document and now the fallout deepens.

Bloomberg reportedly got a hold of the text signed by the government as they race to try and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. In the pages posted to the website, readers have discovered that a lot of the bluster about America coming out on-top of this deal was just that from the looks of things.

Some highlights for people who haven’t paged through the Bloomberg piece for themselves. The United States will be on the hook for $300 billion of financing for Iran. In addition, the sanctions placed upon the Islamic Republic look to be at an end as well.

As an added bonus, all of the “frozen funds & assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be released and made fully available.” That means this deal appears to be everything that the other country wanted with little in the way of concessions.

It’s truly a wealth of return for Iran. And, all they have to do is “not develop a nuclear weapon.” Which, for those playing at home, has been a goal they’ve been working on since President Barack Obama was in office. Well done, everyone involved!

The plot begins to thicken when you consider that the administration might not have even hired a professional translator to go through this document. Instead, they could have fed this entire agreement through AI to get the job done.

Maybe a keener eye would have allowed officials to see what they were getting into more easily?

The Iran Deal Continues To Be A Mess

The sheer amount of money and resources exchanging hands will raise eyebrows amongst Republican voters and general Americans. In addition, it will become increasingly hard to spin these agreements as some sort of total coup for the United States.

All of this is a massive change of tune from the previous social media posts from Donald Trump. Back when this conflict began, he had grand visions of a massive victory for the United States. Now, armed with the information we have, things have not gone anywhere near according to plan.

“There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!,” the President argued back then. “After that, and the selection of a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s), we, and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.”

He continued, “IRAN WILL HAVE A GREAT FUTURE. “MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!).” Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

And that was all the way back in March of this year. A lot has changed since then. The American public has gone through more civic strife due to economic decisions of this administration. That along with other travails put a harsh lens on the current conflict.

For instance, one that might make an already iffy agreement that much more worse in retrospect.
