‘The shade is legendary.’: AOC has savage reply for Trump’s criticism of Bad Bunny’s ‘Spanish’ Super Bowl performance

Several people had a lot to say following rapper and singer Bad Bunny’s headlining act during this year’s Super Bowl halftime show that took place on February 9, 2026. Among them, of course, was United States President Donald Trump, who went on an elaborate Truth Social rant not long after the event premiered.
Since the time it was announced that Bad Bunny would be part of the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, Donald Trump has expressed his disapproval. Following in the footsteps of their master, several MAGA-leaning people also shared similar sentiments about Bad Bunny’s appearance at the event and to that effect, they even came up with a programme of their own (a Turning Point USA event featuring Kid Rock) to combat its viewership. News flash! They failed.
Donald Trump made his feelings about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show performance known to everyone
On February 9, 2026, Donald Trump, through a post on Truth Social, let everyone know that he watched the Super Bowl halftime show featuring Bad Bunny (despite insinuating otherwise on multiple occasions before), but declared that he did not enjoy it, mostly because it made “no sense” to him. He called it “terrible” and “one of the worst ever.” He also alleged that the event did not represent the American “standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.” A part of his long hogwash read something like this:
The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This “Show” is just a “slap in the face” to our Country.”
While discussing the Super Bowl halftime show in his post, Trump also remarked that there was “nothing inspirational” about it, but said that it would receive “great reviews” from the “Fake News Media”, because they are unaware of what is going on in the real world.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claps back at Donald Trump’s racist comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance
No matter how much Donald Trump sulks and cries about it, Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance was a huge hit. On the day of the event, several renowned public figures posted about it, exemplifying its popularity. In fact, some MAGAs also posted about watching it. Although they were primarily dissing it, they were watching it nevertheless, contributing to its viewership. Donald Trump was also doing the same, and his comments about it were not specifically kind, as mentioned previously. But he was definitely not getting away with it.
When asked to comment on Trump’s complaints about Bad Bunny’s performance at this year’s Super Bowl, who claimed that nobody could understand what he was saying, United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) had a cheeky response that could bring Trump’s broken English to shame. With a laugh on her face, she said, “I barely know what Trump is saying half the time, so… I feel him.”
Where is the lie??
