Holy Jaegers, The First Promo Image From Pacific Rim 2 Is Here [UPDATE: And Totally Wishful Thinking]

Okay, so Pacific Rim 2 won’t be out until April 2017. And so we haven’t seen anything about the animated series or comic book in a while. But that’s all okay, Jaeger buddies, because the Pacific Rim Facebook page has just released their first promotional image for the film, three years out! [UPDATE: Just kidding, it’s a fan account. But we can still be excited!]

Over at Air Herald, they’re speculating that – since Pacific Rim 2 will be made by Legendary – there might be some potential for a Godzilla crossover. Honestly, as long as Mako and Raleigh are back being flawless then I couldn’t really care less about who they’re fighting. 2017 can’t come soon enough.
