Haven't we said the MCU needs more Chrises?

Harvey Weinstein's trial began in New York yesterday as prosecutors and his lawyers started jury selection. On the other side of the country, prosecutors in Los Angeles chose that day to announce new charges against him in their jurisdiction.

I guess we need to just pick a white favorite to adopt and root for, I choose Florence Pugh. 

The long-running Supernatural has unsurprisingly been the first stop for a lot of big careers.

Ben Solo is maybe the only thing I care about in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. A character who I hated throughout the first two movies, his redemption arc, in a lot of ways, worked for me in a way that I did not particularly think it would. Suddenly, I wanted Ben Solo to come back to the light, and I cared when he did.

Rebecca Sugar’s successful Cartoon Network series Steven Universe has come to an end. While the epilogue series, Steven Universe: Future, still hasn’t finished its run, it’s clear that the main story arc has been concluded with the end of season 5. Understandably, this news was received with much woe and disappointment—not just for the ending of something good, but also for its many open plotlines and missed opportunities.

Knives Out is no doubt a success. In a world where most films are remakes, sequels, or reboots, to have a film based on an original story make so much money with so many big stars is a real tribute to writer/director Rian Johnson.

There are few shows that hit me the way that Parks and Recreation did. To this day, I cannot hear the phrase "I love you and I like you" without promptly bursting into tears, so a picture of Amy Poehler and Adam Scott hanging out together at the Golden Globes? It's making me emotional.

The Master is one of those Doctor Who villains that is hard to bring back without it feeling almost cheap.
