Nursing Student Gets Kicked From her Program and Immediately Makes Her Situation Worse by Getting on TikTok

Ddanicaliforniaa is a former nursing program student who was dismissed from her program and has gone viral for the way she told her side of the story.
After being dismissed from her nursing program, she shared her story on TikTok with the world, and her videos talking about her dismissal have received hundreds of thousands of views.
Although the official reasoning for her dismissal was conduct, ddanicaliforniaa claims that other women in her program banded against her and reported that she had a pocket knife with her, saying, “I don’t have a car in Los Angeles. I walk. I take the bus. Because of that, I had, like, a small pocket knife. …I took the knife every day, but on this particular day, somebody saw me with the knife and they told security.”
Ddanicaliforniaa’s Nursing Program Story Quickly Gained Attention
Social Symone on YouTube covered the situation and said:
“You got kicked out of the nursing program, and this is the video that you post after. Now, girl, I’m not sure if this is gonna pan out in a positive light. And here’s what I’m thinking. This was a nursing program you were dismissed from. You might be dismissed from a lot more than just the nursing program for what I’m hearing. And I do wanna talk about, also, she’s saying she was being bullied. I don’t think nobody should be bullied. I think everybody has the right also to protect themselves. But ma’am, what did you just—you just said some interesting stuff here. “
Those in the replies argued that ddanicaliforniaa’s attitude and the way she speaks about her former classmates are unfitting for somebody who wants to be a nurse, as nurses have to deal with all types of people who are having their worst days. This led to ddanicaliforniaa doubling down on her remarks, insisting that they were jealous of her confidence and appearance.
In more positive nursing news, two California nurses identified some health-related decisions they’ve learned never to make.
One commenter claimed to be one of her classmates and said she defended her in class, but now admits she’s disappointed in ddanicaliforniaa’s comments and is glad the nursing program removed her because she isn’t showing the qualities a nurse must have.
They said, “As one of your classmates, I was one of the people who defended you because I thought you were smart and I believed in giving people the benefit of the doubt. But seeing the way you’re speaking about entire groups of people now has honestly been disappointing. You can talk about your experiences without putting others down. Nursing requires compassion, respect, and professionalism toward everyone. I hope you take time to reflect, but I’m glad the program made the decision it did because those qualities are essential in nursing.”
As the comments point out, the way ddanicaliforniaa reacted to the situation might have also damaged her future prospects, with one saying, “Oh my god. You’ve managed to tank your career within 45 seconds.”
The nursing college ddanicaliforniaa was attending was not identified and has made no statement on her claims.
On a more humorous note, this nurse accidentally listed herself as deceased, believing that the memorial form was a sign-up sheet for Girl Scout Cookies
