It’s Official: Hillary Clinton Is Running For President of the United States

Is the US finally ready for its first female President?

We all knew this was coming, but today it’s official. Hillary Clinton has announced her candidacy for President of the United States.

The announcement came in a really low-key way – by her campaign chairman, John Podesta, sending a simple email to Clinton donors and supporters saying, “I wanted to make sure you heard it first from me – it’s official: Hillary’s running for president,”

Later, the campaign released the video above. Multicultural participants? Check. Messages in English and Spanish? Check. Depictions of LGBTQ relationships? Check-check. Hillary’s definitely been having a rough time of it lately, what with the whole “using her personal email for government business” thing. However, with Senator Elizabeth Warren saying multiple times that she’s definitely NOT running, Clinton may be our only real shot at electing our first female President in this election (unless a female Republican candidate emerges, which is unlikely).

What say all of you? Are you on the Hillary in 2016 bandwagon?
