The director of this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special tweeted that the episode began filming yesterday, and should continue for the next month. Paul Wilmshurst (Da Vinci’s Demons) is also directing the seventh and eighth episodes of this current season. There’s been a bunch of rumors flying around like the TARDIS on bad day about Jenna Coleman leaving during the Christmas special, or even Peter Capaldi making like Eccleston and bailing after one season, but who knows?

Hopefully Wilmshurst will tweet us something else hint-worthy over the next four weeks!
