And by “pink” I mean Danny Pink, who comes back to Doctor Who after his debut in “Into the Dalek,” and the color pink, because damn, wherever the Doctor is is rocking some serious ’80s neon. Here’s the synopsis for this Saturday’s creepy-looking episode, “Listen”:

“When ghosts of past and future crowd into their lives, the Doctor and Clara are thrown into an adventure that takes them to the very end of the universe.

What happens when the Doctor is alone? And what scares the grand old man of Time and Space? Listen!”

As for the rumors that Jenna Coleman will be leaving the show soon—which originated with The Mirror, so grain of salt—Coleman refused to answer directly but did say “there’s a surprise we’ve got coming” for Clara, which means “If you know I’m in the series—or you know I’m off—you’ll know how the story ends… it’s much better that nobody knows which way it’s going to go.”

Capaldi gave a similarly non-answer answer when he was asked, saying “I’m not looking for a new assistant” and “You’ve just gotta watch and wait and see what happens.”

It very well could be true—companions don’t tend to stick around for all that many seasons, anyway. Regardless, if someone’s not wearing a scrunchie and listening to a cassette tape in this week’s episode, I’ll be very disappointed.

Edwin is a white, teenage boy with short, dark hair wearing a grey pin-striped suit, a white buttondown with a wide collar, and a bowtie who's seated behind a desk with a serious expression. Charles stands beside him with his arms folded. He's a mixed-race white and Indian teenage boy with short, wavy dark hair wearing a maroon polo shirt, a gold chain, and black pants. He's smirking.
