We’ve been pretty excited about Logan, not just because the trailers so far have made it look genuinely great, but because we really want to see X-23 make her way to the X-Men movie universe. (Maddy even wrote a handy breakdown of what she likes about the character with some reading recommendations.) In this new trailer, we finally get to see her join in some action scenes (and read some X-Men comics).
The use of the comics is a pretty nice touch to draw the line between shiny superheroics and Logan‘s gloominess, where the aging Wolverine and the young X-23/Laura are fighting for their lives in what appears to be an incredibly violent road movie.
