The first episode of LEGO’s The Force Awakens prequel series Star Wars: The Resistance Rises is here, and I’m happy to announce that it 100% gets the Internet’s obsession with Poe Dameron. The spectacularly goofy short features C-3P0, Captain Phasma, BB-8, and an umbrella-toting Poe Dameron, who flits across the galaxy like a Resistance Mary Poppins to lend his actual umbrella to those in need.
Lego Star Wars: The Resistance Rises airs on Disney XD, although it also looks like episodes will be available for streaming on Youtube. Hopefully they’re all this bonkers.
