Bless their little hearts.

Fathers Day is just around the corner, but Audible decided to announce their present for dads a little early. Between Monday June 9th and Fathers Day June 15th you can download the audiobook of Go the Fuck to Sleep as read by Samuel L. Jackson. As Geekosystem’s father-in-residence, I thank you.

Jackson’s reading of the beloved children’s book is already the most downloaded title on Audible ever thanks to it blowing up after his appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman where he talked about the book, saying:

I remember all those times when I did read to my daughter when she was that age and everybody tells you reading stories will put kids to sleep, but it never works. It didn’t in my house. I did say “Go the F**k to sleep” to her a lot and I think at some point she would look at me when I would come into her room and she would say “go the f**k to sleep daddy?” and I would say “yeah, go the f**k to sleep.”

Whether or not you think Go the Fuck to Sleep is appropriate to read to your children, I will attest firsthand how cathartic it is for parents to hear Jackson read it at four in the morning.

You can grab the book starting Monday by heading to Audible.com/sleep.
