I guess extra life mushrooms still work in the Realistic Mario universe, because Luigi has somehow recovered from his snapped neck. The brothers are back to show us how Mario’s aquatic adventures would play in real life, and it goes about as well as you’d expect. Wait, this is Mario 3? What was he doing underwater without the frog suit, anyway? That would’ve fixed everything.
