Woman Opens a Blind Box at a Shopping Mall, Then Breaks Up With Her Boyfriend Because of His Reaction: ‘It Matches So Well’
Thank you, next!

A TikTok user is sharing her excitement for blind boxes with her followers.
@pardonmepoodle uploaded a video to her TikTok account where she is showing great enthusiasm while opening a blind box, seemingly inside a mall, while her boyfriend (whom she mentioned) films her. At the start of the video, @pardonmepoodle holds up the box she is about to open, and from the diagrams on the back of the box, she highlights that she “really” wants the yellow ones, the orange one, and if she doesn’t get any of those, she will be happy with any she doesn’t already have. However, she adds that she is “not a fan” of the dolls whose eyes are closed.
@pardonmepoodle’s blind box reveal video led to her breakup
As @pardonmepoodle proceeds to open the blind box in her hand, hoping to get a doll she doesn’t already have (except for the ones with closed eyes), she asks her boyfriend, who is recording the video, to tell her if she already has the doll she wants by looking at the card. However, her boyfriend, seemingly agitated, tells her, “I don’t know. Look,” which causes the excited expression on @pardonmepoodle’s face to shift to one of slight sadness.
Then, after @pardonmepoodle opens the box, she sees that it contains the green doll and jumps with joy upon seeing it. Holding it in her hand, she comments that it matches what she’s wearing (a green tank top) and begins jumping with happiness yet again. As she starts to do a little dance, hinting at how excited she is, her boyfriend from behind the camera gives a small laugh.
In the caption for this video, @pardonmepoodle wrote that shortly after filming, she broke up with her boyfriend because he was a “jerk,” seemingly suggesting that his reaction to her happiness was the reason for the breakup.
