Hey Girl, We Will Await This Feminist Mad Max Meme in Valhalla

The feminism of Mad Max has been celebrated (and contested) at great length, but never as satisfyingly as on the Feminist Mad Max Tumblr. This is what the misogynists were worried about: endlessly meme-able lessons in gender roles. Considering the “Hey Girl” Ryan Gosling meme has been proven in studies to make male participants sympathetic towards the feminist cause, I’d say the dude-bros’ fears were justified.
