Artist Cliff Chiang watched The Runaways and then drew this, and our lives are now that much more complete. For the record, that’s Wonder Woman as Joan Jett, Black Canary as Cherie Currie, Zatanna as one of six possible bassists, and Batgirl (with facepaint in an homage to The Dark Knight Returns‘ Sons of Batman?) as Sandy West. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Wonder Woman’s lasso reinterpreted as sound equipment either.

And now you may discuss what song they are playing. Chiang has already submitted Bad Reputation. I always knew Wondy would be an alto.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
