Woman gets fired from her job, then she picks up the phone and tells everyone the reason

When scrolling through social media, especially platforms such as TikTok, a popular genre of content features people getting fired from their jobs, usually after a dramatic incident. In these videos, comments are often split, with one side supporting the person who was fired and the other supporting the person who fired them.

Bambi (@thatbitchbambi) received several supportive comments from strangers on a TikTok video she uploaded, in which she announced she had been fired from her Walmart job. “I just got fired, so I’m making my exit,” Bambi said before grabbing a phone that appears to be the ones used by Walmart employees to communicate.

After she dials a number on the phone, she commands everyone’s attention on the floor and then introduces herself. She then explains that she was fired for standing up for a kid who was being bullied.

“This is the worst management team that this store has ever had in the fifteen years that I’ve worked here.” She adds, “You all suck. Everyone have a great day,” before hanging up.

In a separate video, Bambi provided additional context about the incident, saying that one of her co-workers, Daniele, was on the sales floor screaming at a “mentally challenged kid” and bullying him. Bambi said she approached Daniele and asked her not to scream at the “slow kid,” but Daniele began screaming at Bambi instead, prompting Bambi to leave.

Bambi then said that during break time she was talking to another co-worker and realized he had a very different account of what had actually happened, so she tried to clarify. However, that individual later allegedly went to Daniele and told her about the conversation he had with Bambi. The woman apparently got offended, leading to a verbal altercation between the two, and the woman supposedly threatened Bambi with physical violence.

Their argument ended with both of them giving their statements, but Bambi alleges she was called to the office to clarify her statement about calling the kid “slow.” Bambi said she ultimately got fired several days after that, but it wasn’t because of her using the term “slow” in a derogatory way.

Speaking about the incident that she thinks played a significant role in getting her fired, Bambi said, “About three months ago, I got pulled into OGP, the online picking to help out over there and I made a joke ‘ I’ll go carry these losers’ and I was rolled up for that.” Bambi took accountability for the incident and said she probably shouldn’t have said that, but stated that she meant it as a joke.

Bambi then said that it was the combination of the OGP incident and the one involving the kid that got her fired. However, she mentioned Daniele did not face any action against her despite ill-treating the kid and threatening Bambi, which has also been recorded on camera.

Some people in the comments section of Bambi’s video expressed their dissatisfaction with Bambi’s situation and shared their impressions of Walmart. One user wrote, “I worked with Walmart and they always have a problem with management.” Another user echoed similar sentiments and said, “Walmart is notoriously horrible for choosing the worst to be managers.”

A few others spoke of their own experiences working at Walmart. One user commented, “24yr associate and TL here. I was told yesterday that my intermittent fmla for my health condition is ruining everyone’s morale.” Another stated, “I got fired from Walmart for having cancer and missing work because of it!”
