Well Damn, Now We Really Want Twinkly Toes

This Exists... Because of A Lady

Recommended Videos

Look, we’re ladies. This doesn’t necessarily mean we’re the types you’ll see throttling other women (or men) for a good deal on Monolo Blahniks and whatnot; in fact most days we’re decidedly simple in our footwear. But we are people, lady-people, and we like to believe that people in general like pretty things. Especially really pretty and glowy things like these D0-It-Yourself LED-powered twinkle shoes.

The shoe clips were designed by crafter Becky Stern, and it’s an easy soft-circuit project with really cute results. Here are some pictures from the process, as well as a video by Stern at the end, describing how to make the shows yourself.

(But please design us some light-up socks.)
