The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre’s crude attack on Trump and Melania earns him a bizarre White House diagnosis

Back at it.

The ongoing friction between Hollywood icons and the White House has reached a new peak. Chuck Lorre, the mastermind behind massive sitcom hits like The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men, recently launched a blistering verbal assault against President Donald Trump. According to UNILAD, this occurred during an acceptance speech at a Project Angel Food fundraiser in Los Angeles on September 26, 2026.

The atmosphere at the event was intended to be celebratory. Lorre was there to accept the prestigious Founders Award for his contributions. However, the producer quickly pivoted from charity to a harsh critique of the administration. Lorre started his remarks by acknowledging the pressures of his career. He noted that people expect a comedy writer to be funny at all times. He explained that his self-esteem is often tied to the laughter of an audience.

Despite this self-imposed pressure to entertain, he felt compelled to address the current political climate. He told the audience that he would prefer to discuss his desire for a more compassionate government. He wanted to focus on leaders who prioritize the health and welfare of citizens. Instead, he claimed his professional burden forced him to speak about the person in the White House. He then referred to Trump as that “bloated orange piece of s—”.

The commentary did not stop with the President

Lorre also shifted his focus to First Lady Melania Trump. He contrasted her with former First Lady Michelle Obama during his speech. He praised Michelle Obama as a smart, educated, warm, and funny figure. Lorre then used that comparison to levy further criticism against the current First Lady. He even went as far as to claim that Melania “clearly hates her husband.” These remarks were delivered in front of a live crowd, drawing significant attention to his stance.

The White House did not remain silent for long after these comments surfaced. Spokesperson Dave Ingle issued a sharp rebuttal. He told Fox News Digital that “Chuck Lorre should immediately seek psychiatric help to treat his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has completely rotted his peanut-sized brain.” This response highlights the intense nature of the feud. It is a direct, aggressive return fire from the administration to a high-profile critic.

This conflict is actually the latest chapter in a long history between the two men. Their personal beef spans decades, dating back to a physical encounter 15 years before the recent gala. Lorre has frequently used his platform to air his grievances against the President. He has famously utilized vanity cards at the end of his television episodes to share his unfiltered thoughts.

One such card from 2006 celebrated the moment Two and a Half Men beat The Apprentice in the Nielsen ratings. In that message, Lorre recalled a past meeting with Trump. He wrote about a memory that haunts him, specifically citing a smug pout and a condescending hand gesture. He even addressed the President directly in the text, stating, “Hey, Donald, I just bumped into you again!”

The history of these insults continues through the run of The Big Bang Theory

In 2016, a vanity card appeared at the end of an episode that took a direct swipe at the political slogan of the President. Lorre argued that the phrase ‘Make America Great Again’ was merely a bumper sticker for victimhood. He insisted that citizens should not view themselves as victims but as creators of opportunity. According to Entertainment Weekly, he later referred to an “autocratic golf cheater” in a 2018 vanity card during the 12th season of the show.

Lorre remains unapologetic about his public stance. During his recent speech, he admitted he has no choice but to explain his daily routine. He mentioned that he wakes up every morning to turn on CNN to see if the President had a heart attack while straining to take a dump. This comment underscores the vitriol that has defined their relationship for years.

Representatives for the producer have been contacted for further comment regarding the situation. The White House continues to defend its position with aggressive language. It is clear that the divide between the creator of some of television’s most beloved shows and the President is wider than ever.
