Superman Returns aside, Superman IV: The Quest For Peace is basically the Batman and Robin of the Superman franchise — it killed the franchise so that a more realistic version could take its place decades later. Luckily, you don’t have to actually watch Superman IV to really get how bad it was, because the latest Honest Trailer has done the hard work for you. Even if Man of Steel fails to live up to our expectations, at least it will never be this awful.
