Supergirly

“What’s a girl doing here?” from Narratively on Vimeo.

There are 46,000 cabs in New York City, and a commensurately large number of cab drivers, but only one hundred seventy of them are women. Narratively’s feature on the life of a female cabbie begins with the reactions they get, but goes on to simply talk about their lives, why cab driving works for them as a profession, and why it’s a job they enjoy and love.
