Netflix has been on a roll with the smart moves lately. They’ve renewed Jessica Jones, and now they’ve announced they’re working on a brand new original sci-fi movie with none other than the stellar actress who played Trish Walker: Rachael Taylor.

Titled ARQ, the flick will feature Taylor and Robbie Amell in a time-looping, post-apocalyptic, more-hyphenated-words-than-you-can-shake-a-stick-at sci-fi adventure. They play two characters who are stuck in a house trying to protect the last source of clean energy on Earth from creepy masked intruders. If you wanted to sum it up: think Groundhog Day meets The Purge.

Easily one of the highlights of Jessica Jones‘ first season, Taylor’s turn as Trish was nothing less than amazing, so you can bet we’ve got high expectations for this movie. Pairing her with Amell seems like a good choice as well, so we’re really hoping Netflix can pull this one off.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in to check out the movie when it comes out?
