A Pennsylvania woman’s late-night stay at a hotel has drawn attention on TikTok after she claimed a series of problems escalated into a police response. In a pair of viral July 2026 videos, Molly Molly (@Mollytatted) alleged that an overflowing toilet, an inoperative room key, and a dispute with the front desk left her temporarily locked out of the room while her three young children were inside.

The incident allegedly took place at the Quality Inn in Bensalem, a township in Bucks County just northeast of Philadelphia. In the first TikTok, Molly records herself outside the hotel while waiting for police. “I’m making a video. I’m waiting for 911 to come,” she says. “My three minor children are in the room. I can’t get in the room because my key’s not working and he refuses to make me another one.”

Molly says she stepped out to get things from her car when the key card stopped working

She then goes on to allege that she had stepped outside to retrieve bags from her vehicle when her room key suddenly stopped working. Molly also claims the hotel employee refused to issue a replacement key even though her 1-year-old, 10-year-old, and 12-year-old children remained inside the room.

In a follow-up post, Molly shared additional context for the dispute. She alleged that the problems began after she and her fiancé checked into a room with an overflowing toilet that would not flush. According to her account, they asked for a different room but were told no. She then requested a plunger and claimed that request also was denied.

Molly said she called Choice Hotels’ corporate customer service in front of the employee to request a refund. She told them that after returning upstairs, her keycard no longer worked, and the employee again refused to provide a replacement.

According to Molly, police eventually arrived, and the situation ended after officers intervened. In the follow-up caption, she wrote that officers “forced him to make a new one,” referring to a replacement keycard.

Molly turned comments off on her posts, but her TikToks and story spread to other platforms. Comments doubting her story noted that a 10- and 12-year-old were old enough to unlock the door themselves. But responses to that comment added, “What if they’re sleeping? Do you think this [is] acceptable behavior?”

No local news outlets appear to have reported on the incident, and no public statement from the hotel or Choice Hotels was available, so this story comes solely from @Mollytatted on TikTok.
