Dallas woman spent her birthday with friends. But after a friend ruined her night, she’s cutting her off: ‘Last time I checked, it was my birthday’

Some friendships can weather impossible storms, but Dos (@pinkyyygem) from Dallas, Texas, has decided to end her three-year friendship with a close friend. At her birthday dinner, her friend’s behavior allegedly became too much for her to bear.

“She’s actually not making it until the end of the month, and my big issue is that I give people too much grace, and I’m a little too patient,” Dos told TikTok. However, her friend allegedly tipped the scales. On September 21, Dos said she went to Monarch, a fine dining Italian restaurant in Dallas, and invited her closest friend and two other homegirls.

“My homegirls, at some point in the dinner, asked us if any of us had kids,” Dos said. She alleged that instead of mildly saying no, her friend exclaimed, “F*** no!” in the middle of the restaurant. Dos reminded her that everything has its time and place, and she was disturbed by her friend’s demeanor. However, she alleged that her friend’s behavior would only escalate.

Her friend stopped being good company

Later that night, a family sat at the restaurant behind their table. There was a baby, and Dos didn’t mind the baby’s noises or babbling. However, the baby allegedly started screeching, which irritated her friend. Nevertheless, Dos claimed she stayed calm, even though loud noises don’t sit well with her. Meanwhile, her friend allegedly started complaining about the baby. She further alleged that her friend kept commenting loudly, “I think the baby wants to go home.”

Dos interpreted her friend’s statement as a means to guilt the family. However, Dos believed that the baby wasn’t tired and was making baby noises. The comments allegedly got to the family, and they asked the waiter to move tables. As the family was walking by, the man allegedly commented “pathetic” to her friend. Although Dos didn’t agree with the man’s approach, she thought it was pathetic that he made the aside instead of confronting them, but she still understood his sentiment.

While Dos’ friend didn’t suddenly turn on her and try to put her behind bars, she allegedly started loudly cussing the man out. Then she said people started looking at them because of the commotion her friend allegedly caused. Dos said she had to keep reminding her to drop the subject but couldn’t let go.

Her attention was occupied by random men

When they left for the restaurant and got in the car, her friend allegedly started FaceTiming man after man, even when they got back to her house. Dos said she eventually asked her to hang up, but she allegedly refused.

“Last time I checked, it was my birthday. We’re all supposed to be spending time together, right now,” Dos said. Instead, Dos claimed her friend has FaceTimed at least four different men. At some point, Dos accused her friend of trying to involve her in conversations with the men, even though she emphasized that it was her birthday and that she should be hanging out with them.

Dos was going to have shots with her homegirls, and when she invited them, she told her friend to leave the phone by the counter. However, Dos alleged that she tried to bring the man she was on a call with while they were taking shots.

“Why have I said stop more than once to a grown a** adult?” Dos said, frustrated. When they moved celebrations to the next spot, Dos accused her of flirting with another man in person. Throughout the night, she said her friend also followed another man around the bar, whom Dos had already warned her against. By the end of the night, Dos claimed her friend tried to start a fight with her on Instagram, which she didn’t entertain. By the end of the night, Dos decided to cut ties. Unlike another woman, at least it didn’t take buying her friend a Jeep and 15 years before ending the friendship.
