Ex tries to baby-trap woman while she plans to leave him. She removes IUD at his request, only to learn a lifetime lesson: ‘Relationship is trash’

Some red flags come with baby plans

Getting excited about a possible pregnancy is one thing. But pressuring someone to have a baby is another. One woman claims her ex ignored her wishes when their relationship was already falling apart.

Stories about suspected baby-trapping show how pregnancy decisions can create conflict between partners. But this woman’s experience took a disturbing turn after she agreed to remove her IUD.

In a TikTok video with 1.1 million views, Kirsten (@lil_tachy) claims her former fiancé tried to baby-trap her. She calls him “Quinoa” in her Crazy Ex from Hell series. It all began with a pregnancy scare.

It seemed like a good idea at first

Kirsten was 21 when she missed her period despite having an IUD. She experienced nausea and exhaustion but initially suspected a thyroid problem.

Then a coworker mentioned becoming pregnant while using an IUD. Kirsten began wondering whether she was pregnant.

Several home pregnancy tests came back negative. She then requested a blood test.

While waiting for the results, Kirsten and her fiancé grew excited about possibly having a baby. She had always wanted to become a mother. The blood test was negative, leaving them both disappointed.

Kirsten already had an appointment scheduled to check her IUD placement. Around that time, the couple discussed removing it and tracking ovulation instead.

She initially liked the idea but reconsidered as the appointment approached. They were struggling financially. “We’re broke right now,” she recalled thinking.

Disagreements can become particularly troubling when men try to influence women’s birth control decisions. Kirsten claims her fiancé became furious when she suggested keeping her IUD and barely spoke to her afterward.

Despite her doubts, she went ahead with the removal. Her doctor questioned the decision. When she returned home, her fiancé hugged and kissed her, delighted by the decision.

For months, Kirsten tracked her ovulation. They initially used condoms during her fertile days but later switched to withdrawal. Then, weeks before their breakup, the situation changed.

“The relationship is trash,” Kirsten recalled. She was miserable and no longer wanted to have a child with him. One day, she explicitly warned her fiancé that she was ovulating and told him not to ejaculate inside her.

During sex, she noticed he suddenly seemed uninterested. When she checked whether he wanted to continue, he allegedly laughed and admitted he had already ejaculated inside her without telling her.

Kirsten panicked. He had followed their arrangement for months. He allegedly kept laughing. She was frightened because she believed she was at her most fertile and had made her wishes clear before they had sex.

The following morning, Kirsten went to Kroger as soon as it opened and bought Plan B. She took the emergency contraceptive before returning to her car.

Viewers condemned her account. “that’s quite literally SA,” one commenter wrote. “This is rape too babe. You didn’t consent to that, it’s completely not ok,” another responded.

Others shared similar experiences. One viewer wrote, “My ex abuser ‘lost’ my birth control when I was living with him in an attempt to baby trap me.”

Some questioned whether Plan B would work after ovulation. “Plan B prevents ovulation, not pregnancy. OP either wasn’t ovulating yet or the pregnancy didn’t take,” one commenter wrote.

Kirsten did not disclose whether she became pregnant afterward. However, she later explained what finally ended their engagement.

In another video, she recalled finding her fiancé’s glasses broken before work. He allegedly blamed her, shouted at her, and raised his fist while holding the glasses. Kirsten feared he was about to hit her.

He eventually handed over the glasses, and she repaired them with duct tape. After he drove her to work, she contacted trusted women in her life and told them she needed to leave him that night.

Kirsten confirmed they broke up after her shift. She said she avoided telling male friends about her plans because she feared their reactions and worried her fiancé might find out.
