Paul Feig Gives Pointers, Diagrams on Proton Packs for Cosplaying His New Ghostbusters

Anyone who doubted Feig's Ghostbusters cred needs to check themselves.

On the opposite end of the spectrum from those creators who decry cosplayers as the riders of the apocalypse, Ghostbusters director Paul Feig welcomes them with open arms—and a very helpful hand. Quick! You’ve only got days to make adjustments before San Diego Comic-Con!

For ultimate accuracy, Feig also tweeted the exact dimensions of the pack and its “gun” as will be worn by McCarthy, Wiig, and crew.

And here’s the unaltered proton pack image, complete with orange straps to go with the revamped Ghostbusters jumpsuits for the reboot:

If this is the kind of dedication we can expect from Feig’s Ghostbusters, our excitement is officially a 35-foot Twinkie weighing approximately 600 pounds.
