Hulu's The Hardy Boys took the blandest, most boring property from the collective American childhood and somehow found a way to make it even more boring.

Wolfwalkers is the latest animated feature from Cartoon Saloon, an Irish animation film and television studio based in Kilkenny. They are responsible for The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, The Breadwinner, and now Wolfwalkers, a gorgeous and melodic film about the relationship between nature and humanity.

All I want is a show where Fennec, Boba, and Din are just walking around and being badass together. 

Regardless of whether he contracted COVID at the event, Pride is still another man, another Black man, who died from this pandemic in the United States who didn't have to. Now, yet another family will have to find a way to mourn someone who meant so much to so many, in the midst of all this chaos and madness.

In news that has reminded me that joy is still an emotion that can exist in 2020, Chris Pine has signed on to star in a live-action Dungeons & Dragons movie.

Welcome to the Monday Anime Round-up, a weekly series where I talk about the anime I watched over the weekend. Um. hopefully weekly. Assuming I can update this more often than I update my fics (I'm sorry!) This will, most likely, be currently airing series, but there's always room for me to catch up on the other 3.14159~ shows I've been neglecting.

But it would be nice to see this version of Peter Quill on screen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I'm just not holding my breath for it. 

Sound of Metal is not that movie and it's infinitely better because of that. It's a rough, real story about a person who becomes deaf, but who is also an addict, a musician, and a restless soul.

Whatever happens, we're getting a Riri Williams show and that's all that matters to me right now!
