After being halted indefinitey, Guillermo del Toro assured us that Pacific Rim 2 was “not gone.” While it’s obvious that the director loves the story and its characters, it’s still up to the studio to greenlight the sequel so keep a close eye on del Toro’s Twitter for further news. (Honestly, follow him anyway. His “rambling” consists of many wonderful recommendations for books and films.)
I need to see Maisie Williams on a Jaeger, so fingers crossed.
