Monday Cute: Young Hillary Clinton Fan Meets Her Idol While Rocking a Glorious Mini Pantsuit

There is a lot of not-great stuff happening in the news right now, much of which we’ll report on, as usual. However, it’s at times like these that we remember how important it is to remain hopeful, and there’s no better reminder of that than watching children express their hopes and dreams. In the above tweet, we see a little girl named Grace, whose parents took her to a Hillary Clinton book-signing in Brooklyn, New York, where she was signing copies of her children’s book-version of It Takes a Village. Clinton was visibly thrilled (how could she not be? I mean, the sheer adorableness!), and later tweeted:

Clinton was, of course, also in town promoting the release of her book for grown-ups, What Happened, which remains in the Number One spot on the New York Times Bestseller List for non-fiction, and is the best-selling non-fiction book in five years.

Before entering the book-signing, Grace’s mother took a photo of Grace where you could see the whole ensemble, complete with prop, full-on:

OMG, those pearls kill me!

Let the cuteness and optimisinspire you throughout the rest of your day!

Also, I’m curious! What real-life hero would YOU have dressed up as when you were an elementary school student like Grace? Tell us about your childhood inspirations in the comments below!
