Michael Wolff is ready to confront Trump over Melania and Jeffrey Epstein under oath if he sues him

The relationship between Donald Trump and journalist Michael Wolff has undergone significant changes over the past decade. Initially, they had a good rapport, but over time, their relationship has soured, leading to both parties occasionally threatening each other with lawsuits.

Since his re-election last year, Donald Trump has been vocal in his criticism of various individuals, including world leaders, opposition members, and anyone who has questioned his authority. One notable person among them is Michael Wolff, who has spent a considerable part of his career discussing Trump due to their association from 2016 to 2017.

After Trump appreciated Wolff’s work in 2016, he was granted significant access to the White House during Trump’s first term. Based on his observations and interviews conducted during his time there, Wolff wrote the bestselling book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. Although Wolff received accolades for the book, Trump was unhappy with the portrayal of his administration and himself, particularly since it was not flattering, leading him to denounce Wolff. Since then, Wolff has written several books about Trump, despite facing strong opposition from him and his family. Some of these works include Siege: Trump under Fire (2019), Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency (2021), and All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America (2025). In addition to these projects, Michael Wolff also co-hosts a podcast called Inside Trump’s Head, which is dedicated to discussing Trump, alongside Joanna Coles, the chief creative and content officer of The Daily Beast.

Following the release of controversial documents associated with the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, interest in Donald Trump has notably increased, as he was once perceived as Epstein’s best friend. Although he may not want to admit this publicly, the number of individual testimonies confirming this far exceeds Trump’s assertions. And let’s not forget that Trump is mentioned multiple times in the Epstein documents released so far, which also include allegations of sexual abuse against him.

Michael Wolff has consistently spoken out about what he knows regarding Trump and Epstein’s relationship. This has not been well-received by Trump, who has taken legal action against Wolff at least 3 to 4 times in the last decade. However, Wolff, as he stated in a recent episode of Inside Trump’s Head, remains undeterred and determined to reveal the truth. In response to Trump’s announcement of a lawsuit against him, Wolff commented during the episode:

“…He’s never sued me. And he obviously has so much to hide. But also, he can’t sue. What is he gonna do? Is he going to sit for a deposition? Is he going to answer all of the questions that then I would have the right to ask him about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?”

He continued:

“This time on, ‘We know you traveled with him on this occasion and that occasion and that occasion, we know in there are other things.’ So in this—in the release of these documents by the federal government, it said there’s a document here that says Jeffrey Epstein introduced you to your wife. Do you want to discuss that, Mr. Trump? So I think the chances of me being sued are remote.”
