Man refuses to leave phone store unless staff helps him get around his girlfriend’s Facebook block or gives him Mark Zuckerberg’s contact information
Sir, this is a phone store, not Facebook headquarters.

Getting blocked by your girlfriend on Facebook might be a relationship problem, but one man allegedly decided it was also a phone store’s responsibility. TikTok creator @gabectomy shared an encounter with a man who arrived just as he was locking the doors.
The customer reportedly wanted him to reverse a Facebook block placed by his girlfriend after an argument. When the store employee explained that he couldn’t control someone else’s social media account, the man refused to leave. Then he asked how to contact Mark Zuckerberg.
A Facebook block becomes a customer service complaint
According to the employee, the man arrived just before closing and seemed pleased to have caught him. “Well, I guess you’ll just have to stay late for me,” the customer allegedly said.
Company policy required the worker to assist anyone who entered before closing, so he invited the man to the counter and asked what he needed. “My girlfriend blocked me on Facebook, and I’m gonna need you to undo that for me,” the customer reportedly explained, adding that they had a big fight, leaving him unable to contact her through Facebook.
The store sold phones. It didn’t operate Facebook or have access to the woman’s account, which is exactly how the store worker addressed the man’s unusual service request.
“Do I look like Mister Zuckerberg to you?” the worker recalled asking after the customer accused him of avoiding work before the end of his shift. Despite the explanation, the man insisted that the employee could remove the block using his phone.
“I’m not gonna leave until you get me unblocked,” he reportedly declared. The employee told the customer they could remain there all night, but the requested service simply wasn’t possible. That’s when the customer had another idea: contact the person running Facebook.
Another retail worker described a closing-time dispute with a customer, this time over price matching. In that case, a dispute over price matching stretched into another confrontation as the store prepared to shut its doors.
The customer asks for Zuckerberg and ‘male camaraderie’
When the man asked how to reach Mark Zuckerberg, the employee had a response in mind. “Brother, if I knew that, you think I would be working a retail job?” he said, joking that he’d be on a boat instead.
The worker made his position on the customer’s relationship problem clear: “I’m not gonna help you stalk your soon to be ex girlfriend,” he recalled telling the man. The customer allegedly responded by questioning what had happened to “male camaraderie,” suggesting the employee should help him reach his girlfriend.
In another retail mix-up, a customer reportedly tried to use a Taco Bell gift card at an Orlando store. The store employee encountered a customer who reportedly tried to pay with a Taco Bell gift card, believing it would work outside the fast food chain.
In the phone store story, viewers were baffled by the request. One commenter who had worked with phone customers said the number of times they had to explain that carriers don’t control Facebook or other apps was “astounding.”
Another commenter joked, “yea, that’s EXACTLY what someone who knows Zuckerberg would say…” The TikTok content creator responded with a string of watchful-eye emojis.
