LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Is Coming With New Story Details, Expected Amounts of Adorable

Due to EA’sĀ Star Wars game deal and their insistence thatĀ Battlefront is set in a specific time period, we don’t know when aĀ Force Awakens game is coming, but the LEGO one should hold us over until then.

Not only will you finally have another way of reliving the movie without going back to the movie theater for the billionth time, but the game’s Xbox Games Store description page says it will “feature exclusive playable content that bridges the story gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” With Disney and Lucasfilm’s newfound obsession with canon when it comes to allĀ Star Wars media, the promise of some new story details is pretty exciting.

The game is coming on June 28 to pretty much every platform you can imagine, and in case you weren’t sure from the trailer whether it’d have the level of personality befitting a combination of the LEGO games and The Force Awakens, you can judge for yourself from the screenshots below:
