Kristen Stewart Could “Get on Board” With Starring in Captain America (Or Another Superhero Film)

Unabashed feminist and style icon Kristen Stewart might be over Twilight, but she’s not writing off franchise films forever. After eating a cougar in mid-air and donning some sweet armor, KStew wants to take on the world of superhero films, where the graphics and scripts are both often wonderful. Speaking with Yahoo Movies about her role in Still Alice, Stewart said that she “love[s] watching” DC and Marvel films, and would definitely be interested in swapping her jeans for tights:

“I would love to show people that I can do more than just be ‘Kristen Stewart’ in a different movie, in a different circumstance.” She notes her past role as Snow White in the big-budget fantasy adventure Snow White and the Huntsman could be a jumping off point for a superhero role. “I’m sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean?… It would just have to be the right thing.”

I might catch some flack for this, but is it wrong if I can picture KStew as Raven from Teen Titans? Or, as Susana suggested, Spider-Woman in the upcoming Captain Marvel? Well, if all else fails, I hear she has an in with Lex Luthor. eis
