Which Game of Thrones Actor Just Joined Star Wars: Episode VII?

What do we say to the Empire? Not today.

Looks like Star Wars: Episode VII will have not one but two Game of Thrones actors. Who’s joining Gwendoline Christie in the Galaxy Far Far Away? That would be…

…Miltos Yerolemou, who played fan favorite Syrio Forel, Arya’s swordfighting instructor, back in season one. Then he died. Or “died.” There’s a fan theory that he didn’t. There’s a fan theory about everything.

Anyway, the BBC, which originally reported Yerolemou’s casting, says his character “is not thought to be a major one,” and given the fact that he “has taken on several other parts which involve sword fighting during his career,” he could play someone who wields a lightsaber. There’s been no official word from Lucasfilm, and until we get one, this bit o’ casting stays a rumor.

It’s a rumor that I want to be true, though. Let’s get some more Game of Thrones actors in the sequel trilogy, make my heart really explode. Sith Sophie Turner or bust!
