Stormtroopers Show Off Their Anti-Jedi Skills in More New Force Awakens Footage

No match for a good blaster at your side.

Another day; more new Star Wars footage. With the release of The Force Awakens less than a month away, the hype has awakened. This new TV spot, like all the rest, features a few tantalizing bits of footage we haven’t seen before, including a better look at how a modern stormtrooper deals with a lightsaber.

Pervious TV spots have shown Finn locking “blades” with a stormtrooper’s electrified(?) baton, but this one makes it look even more like that weapon was specifically built as an anti-lightsaber measure post-Return of the Jedi, what with the trooper’s apparent confidence in unleashing it on Finn. I guess he’s not the only stormtrooper with some skills.

There’s also more of BB-8 being adorable and a Han-Finn team-up moment, so enjoy.
