Like, right now.  ‘Cause you need to get to South Station by at least 3:30 if you’re going to make it to the start of the annual Boston Zombie March.

That’s right, today, May 29th, at approximately 4pm, a few thousand zombies (if the number of Facebook attendees is at all indicative) will march (or lurch) their way across Boston.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the time to put a costume together:

you may come as a zombie, a survivor, or a protestor, or anything else ties in with the theme.

The rules are pretty sensible:

2. no physical contact with regular people, if they tell you to go away do it, try not to scare children as well…

4. always stay on the sidewalk unless crossing, and break character when crossing, we don’t want the group to be split due to people shambling across the street.

If you’d just like to go spectate, here’s the route: (click to embiggen)

According to the organizer there will be a number of afterparties.  For the full list of rules, and more info, you can find the March’s Facebook Event page right here.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
