Woman Reads a Man’s Messages at a Texas Rangers Game. She Got Suspicious When He Turned His Phone to the Side: ‘Everyone’s Getting Cheated On!’
She witnessed two instances of cheating, convincing her that dating is no longer worth it.

Dating is tough, and even those who find someone to commit to aren’t always so lucky to have a loyal partner. Brittany Bowen (@brittanyybowen) wasn’t even on a date, but she told TikTok that she saw two separate instances of people getting cheated on in broad daylight.
“Let me tell y’all why I’m single,” Bowen said at the start of the clip. She went to a Texas Rangers game. Right in front of them, there was a man and a woman seated next to each other, whom Bowen presumed to be a couple.
“I can see his phone. I’m nosy, so I’m obviously going to read the phone,” Bowen admitted. She also claimed that the phone was set to have a huge font, making it easier for her to read the text messages. But strangely enough, Bowen also pointed out that the man’s phone was slightly turned away to the side, as if he didn’t want the woman beside him to see the contents of his messages. Because the man seemed determined to hide his phone, Bowen felt spurred on to read.
Cheated on at a Texas Rangers game
“Erica, if you’re texting a man, he’s, like, Mexican, and he was at a Rangers game on Friday night? Yeah, he was with that girl. He lied,” Bowen alleged on TikTok. Erica is the woman the man was secretly texting. Bowen stated that based on the chat she saw, Erica was asking whether the man was with some girl.
“This man literally texted back, turned his phone, typed it back, and said, ‘No, why would I be with her?’ Proceeds to put his phone in his pocket and share a wing basket with her,” Bowen claimed. She turned to her seatmate at the game, and Bowen stated that even she looked surprised.
“Did you see that? Ain’t no way his phone just said that,” her seatmate pointed out. Bowen confirmed that she saw the same thing, leaving both of them appalled by the man’s actions. Perhaps the man is lucky that he was at a baseball game. The story may have been different if he were at a Coldplay concert.
It happened at a Dairy Queen too
But it seems that the world was sending a message to Bowen. She alleged that she witnessed yet another person get cheated on the next day. Bowen said that she and her neighbor headed out for something sweet on Saturday night. They decided to go to a nearby Dairy Queen. She observed that the pickup truck beside her had a man and a woman in it.
“I can see inside of his car, and I can see him on his phone while they’re waiting for their food,” Bowen claimed. But just like with the man from the Texas Rangers game, this man’s phone was also strangely angled to the side. The woman was in the passenger seat, unable to see the man’s phone because it was tilted.
“He’s Snapchatting a million and twelve girls while they’re waiting for their ice cream!” Bowen alleged. All while the man was talking to others, Bowen claimed that the woman in his passenger seat appeared cluelessly typing on her phone.
“I’ve had enough, I’ve seen enough. And then everyone has the audacity to ask me why I’m single? Everyone’s getting cheated on!” Bowen said. While the abundance of cheaters may have disillusioned Bowen, this Michigan woman turned someone else’s relationship problem into a source of entertainment.
