AMC’s Vampire Hit Is Dominating Streaming

AMC has a major hit on its hands and people are taking notice. The latest season of a fan-favorite has everyone activated.
If you haven’t seen The Vampire Lestat, what are you doing? AMC’s Interview with the Vampire has branched into Sam Reid’s world this season. June 7 saw everybody with even a passing interest in the show logging onto AMC plus and making massive dent in those streaming rankings.
According to FlixPatrol, The Vampire Lestat also Has the second highest spot on the global streaming charts. Interview with The Vampire is still on the pedestal though. In fact, the entire extended Anne Rice universe has seen a boost because of the excitement around the new series.
The Vampire Lestat: After Dark (a companion podcast) and Talamasca: The Secret Order are also in the global Top 10. That’s a pretty impressive achievement when there is so much good television this season. But, AMC’s ace in the hole has a pronounced advantage, that is social media allowed the fandom to supercharge itself in the layoff between season 2 and season 3.
Sam Reid’s Lestat de Lioncourt is a pop culture phenomenon right now. His performance as the character basically broke the Internet last week. AMC had a real-life concert that looks like the event of the summer so far.
With all this positive momentum, there’s a ton to cheer about if you’re AMC. You’re sitting on top of the world with a show that has developed a rabid following and the numbers to back up the kind of success that you tout.
The Vampire Lestat is riding high!

While people are having their fill of The Vampire Lestat over on AMC+, the show still has more room to grow. Fans online and in person will lament straight to your face that not enough people are talking about this show.
Even if the show is the most popular thing on its network on streaming. There’s always the feeling that there is a snub towards any part of Interview With the Vampire. While we cannot confirm that, our Editor in Chief is out there trying to convince anyone within earshot that the show is worth their time.
“Part of what makes me want to scream about Interview With the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat is that I have to continually tell people to watch it,” Leishman argues. “It’s fanbase knows how good the show is but convincing everyone else in the world to watch feels like an uphill battle.”
“Why? I don’t know,” she admits. “I have been here since the beginning of the show but it is one of those moments where I just want to sit someone down like Alex in A Clockwork Orange and for them to watch it.”
a lot of time to get there. One day, maybe by the end of this season, This series is going to be one of the most warmly remembered shows of 2026. So, if you’ve been on the fence up until this moment, maybe use this as your signal to get on board before the bandwagon fills up.
